Since Kids of America’s Heroes was founded, our central mission has been to bring the needs of military connected children to even greater national attention. And thanks to your generous support, we are now able to show America’s love for military children in so many ways!

Another focus of KOAH is to bring greater connection and understanding between the military and civilian communities.
Connect with KOAH!
One way that KOAH is working to connect communities around our mission is by continuing to spread the word!
MilKids Ed on KOAH

We take pride in talking about issues that impact the daily lives of military children. Working with MilKids Ed, a leading education blog for military families, allows KOAH to speak with greater authority on these topics.
Every month, we share another important aspect of the lives of military children. From discussing school-related issues to shining a light on children who are caring for injured parents, KOAH seeks to share these important stories widely.
KOAH in the Community
If you live in Connecticut or in the New England region, KOAH’s headquarters are super close by! And we’re out in force in your community, too.
You can meet and greet Maria Phillips, KOAH’s Program Manager, at various events throughout the year.
In 2017, we celebrated Christmas with RipChord, the 102d Army Band, at Operation E.L.F. With lots of holiday cheer, tasty treats and fun, we embraced lonely military families who might be far from home or missing someone they love.
We shared in the Halloween spirit with the National Guard at their Trunk or Treat. We loved handing out sweet treats to military children!
Kids of America’s Heroes staff members are on the lookout for even more amazing events in our community all the time! From flag retirement ceremonies to military-charity focused sporting events, we would love to share the message of support for military children.
KOAH in the Media
Through regular appearances on TV and radio, as well as in print, KOAH enjoys every opportunity to bring a focus to the concerns of military-connected children.
We are happy to have appeared on Fox61 in Connecticut, as well as on NYBERG. We’ve also shared our mission in the Day Extra on WQUN and on The River 105.9,
In addition, we have shared our love and support for military children and families through press releases in local and regional print media since our founding.
KOAH’s Partners
Kids of America’s Heroes is proud to partner with MilKids Ed and BearHug to provide a wide circle of support and resources to the military community.
BearHug provides loving care packages to military children around the country. Most recently, KOAH and BearHug sent hundreds of care packages to children at Camp Pendleton!
MilKids Ed provides comprehensive education advice and consulting services to military families around the world.
In addition to working with two outstanding organizations, KOAH has also been named a Yellow Ribbon Partner! We are thrilled to be recognized by this nationally renowned organization.
Community Connections Drive Our Mission
The most important connections we make are to you. Without your support, KOAH cannot continue to support our military-connected children.
